Company
MRH Engineering is company offering simulations and documentation of mechanical systems. Here’s a list of tools that we have experience with, but it should not be considered a limitation:
- ANSYS
- Solidworks
- MATLAB
- ADAMS/View
- Simpack
- C, C++, Java, Python
About the owner
I have a master of science in mechanical engineering from Aalborg university (Graduated in 2008, Design of Mechanical Systems). Then I did an Industrial PhD. with Vestas Wind Systems A/S and Aalborg University in the field of multi-body dynamics. The title of my PhD. thesis is “Dynamic Modeling of Wind Turbine Gearboxes”. In total I worked at Vestas for more than 6 years (of which 3 was part of my PhD).
From 2015 I was Postdoc at Aarhus University, Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, where I worked on projects different projects, one in the field of off-road vehicles and another about mobile milling machines – All focusing on multi-body dynamics. Here I got to work with the open source code ChronoEngine (https://projectchrono.org/) and JPL’s ROAMS (https://dartslab.jpl.nasa.gov/ROAMS/index.php). I also did some teaching of numerical methods and programming.
From 2019 to 2022 I have been working with structural mechanics in the company R&D. There I have been designing (3D and 2D cad) and verifying large steel structures; FEM models of welded as well as cast steel structures. I have focused on programming to streamline and speed up repetitive calculations of welds, bolts and bearings.
